The Grey Muzzle Organization

Old dogs have something to wag about this summer, as The Grey Muzzle Organization announces the recipients of its annual grants of 2020, and dogs at Frosted Faces Foundation are among the winners.

Frosted Faces Foundation in Ramona, CA is one of 64 animal welfare groups chosen from 288 applicants to receive a grant to help local senior dogs. The winning groups received more than $510,000 in grants to help save or improve the lives of at-risk old dogs in their communities.

Over the past 12 years, the national nonprofit Grey Muzzle Organization has provided $2.5 million in grants to support its vision of “a world where no old dog dies alone and afraid.”

“Thanks to the generosity of our donors, we’re delighted to help deserving organizations like Frosted Faces Foundation make a difference in the lives of dogs and people in their communities,” Grey Muzzle’s Executive Director Lisa Lunghofer said. “Many senior dogs in the San Diego area are enjoying their golden years in loving homes thanks to the wonderful work of Frosted Faces Foundation.”

TD Ameritrade Community Grants

We’re honored to share that we have been selected to receive a grant from TD Ameritrade through their new Community Grants program! Together with TD Ameritrade we are building stronger communities helping seniors animals and senior people! As one of their Community Grant recipients we’re ready to grow our Seniors for Seniors Program.

TD Ameritrade’s Community Grants program empowers TD Ameritrade employees to identify and champion nonprofit organizations they’re passionate about. The program, which launched this year, funds organizations committed to addressing social and environmental needs and advancing diversity and inclusion efforts in the communities surrounding TD Ameritrade’s corporate and branch locations. For Spring 2020, the program broadened its scope to support organizations impacted by COVID-19. In this year’s inaugural grant cycle, TD Ameritrade Community Grants awarded 34 organizations a total of $850,000 dollars.
