Foster & Adoption Process

1. Select the Frosted Faces: View all Frosted Faces on our website under Available Frosted Faces. Each profile indicates whether the Frosted Face lives on-site or in a foster home. Please also be sure to review our Courtesy Listings!

2. Choose a Program: Review the Foster and Adoption dropdown menus and determine the time commitment that works best for you.

3. Express Interest: Fill out the Placement Questionnaire as completely and thoughtfully as possible so we can understand your expectations.

4. Visit: We believe in a conversation based adoption process, and our staff is ready to meet you! No appointments are necessary and we are open Monday-Sunday, 10:00am-3:00pm at 1448 Pine Street, Ramona, CA 92065.

   a. If the Frosted Face(s) you want to meet lives with a foster family, a Placement Coordinator will reach out within 24 hours to schedule you.

   b. You are invited to bring your family and pets to introduce to the Frosted Faces to ensure compatibility. We can show you how a dog interacts with cats on loose leash while you are here!

   c. If the match is not successful, the Frosted Face is always welcome to come back to FFF and you will be invited to meet others!
