How to Become an FFF Family

  1. Meet the Frosted Faces: Choose some Frosted Faces you’d like to meet listed under our Available Frosted Faces! You are welcome to attend Open House to meet Frosted Faces in person.

  2. Choose a Program: Review the chart below and determine the time commitment that works best for you.

  3. Express Interest: Fill out the Placement Questionnaire as completely and thoughtfully as possible so we can understand your expectations.

  4. Invitation: Within 24 hours a Placement Coordinator will email follow up responses and schedule an appointment for you to visit Frosted Faces Foundation!

    a. You will be invited to bring your family and pets to introduce to the Frosted Faces to ensure compatibility. We can show you how a dog interacts with cats on loose leash while you are here!

    b. If the match is not successful, the Frosted Face is always welcome to come back to FFF and you will be invited to meet others!

"That’s what we do – we hold them close. We hold our dogs so close that parts of ourselves overflow and fall directly onto their furry heads. So when we look at our dogs we see our worst sorrows, our greatest joys and the deepest part of ourselves for which there is no name.
The story of our dogs is the story of us."

-William Kearney

Disclosure: FFF Veterinary Hospital is open Monday-Friday from 8:00am-6:30pm. Families are responsible for their Frosted Face’s care if FFF Veterinary Hospital cannot accommodate them during the week, after hours in the evenings, or on the weekend.

The goal of FFF Veterinary Clinic is to break down one barrier to senior pet adoption by helping to cover medical expenses for chronic disease. Because care at FFF is free and therefore in high demand, scheduling and funding prioritizes pets with senior-related medical issues.

We highly encourage families to establish care with the family veterinarian upon adoption and invest in pet insurance, with reasonable expectations to cover the cost of care for their Frosted Face when resources at FFF are not available. The Family is ultimately responsible for the timely and quality medical care of the Frosted Face upon adoption.
